Within fifty years, Gabriel Fauré and Maurice Duruflé composed two of the most beloved settings of the Latin Requiem, which now stand as iconic works in the western choral tradition. The Caelis Academy Ensemble, directed by Matthew Larkin, will perform these Requiems alongside Duruflé's Quatre Motets and Louis Vierne's Les Angelus.
